Will I disappoint you? 내가 너를 실망시키겠느냐? / A Child's Hand

 

매달려라! 네 믿음에 보답을 받으리라.

어린아이가 네 손을 꽉쥘 때, 잡은 손에서 전해지는 신뢰와 확신의 마음을 느끼느냐?

그때 그 아이를 보호하고자 하는 사랑과 욕구가 샘솟지 않더냐?

의지할 곳 없는 네가 나에게 매달리며 내 사랑과 보호를 갈망할 때, 내 마음이 어떨는지 생각해보라.

연약하고 불완전한 인간일지라도 제 손을 꼭 쥐는 아이의 손을 뿌리치지 않거늘 하물며 나일까보냐?

내가 너를 실망시키겠느냐?

그럴 수 없느니라.

의심하지 말라. 모든 일이 잘되리라 확신하라.

내가 하지 못할 일, 일으키지 못할 이적은 없노라.

나는 마지막 고비에서도 능히 너를 구하느니라.

Hang on!

You will be rewarded for your faith.

When a child holds your hand, do you feel the trust and confidence that comes from the hand?

At that time, didn't the love and desire to protect the child spring up?

Think of what my heart will be like when you cling to me and crave my love and protection, with no place to rely on.

Even if it's a weak and imperfect human,

I don't think it's me who never shakes the hand of a child who holds my hand tightly?

Will I disappoint you?

I can't. Do not doubt. Be sure everything will work out.

There is nothing I can't do, no miracle that I can't cause. I am able to save you even in the last moments.
