Make me love you more더욱 사랑하게 하소서

 

네가 구세주를 향한 죄인의 사랑,

구조자를 향한 난민의 사랑,

사랑의 목자를 향한 어린양의 사랑,

아버지를 향한 아이의 사랑으로 너 자신을 내게 동여맸으니,

그 사랑의 끈으로 너를 이끌어 내게 더욱더 가까이 오게 하리라.

 

네가 기쁨과 슬픔과 어려움과 성공과 역경과 평판과 위험과 안전과

삶의 모든 체험 속에서 특별히 한 가지를 더 요구하는 것을 아노라.

"주님을 더욱더 사랑하게 하소서!" 라는 네 끈질긴 기도에 내가 반드시 응답하리라.

Since you have tied yourself to me with the love of a sinner for the Savior,

the love of a refugee for the rescuer,

the love of the Lamb for the loving Shepherd,

and the love of a child for the Father,

you have led you closer to me by the string of love.

I will let you come.

I know that you require one more specially in joy,

sorrow, hardship, success, adversity, reputation, danger, safety, and every experience of life. "Make me love you more and more!"

I will surely answer your persistent prayer.
